Realms in Exile was the collective name for Arnor and Gondor, also known as the Kingdoms of the Dúnedain, the ancient Arnor the North-kingdom and Gondor the South-kingdom of the Dúnedain in Middle-earth. Both Kingdoms were founded in the last years of the Second Age by Elendil and his sons. Arnor was destroyed during the Third Age, but at the end of that Age, the Westlands were reunited under Aragorn Elessar.
