Polo was the second child, and only son, of Ponto Baggins and Mimosa Bunce. In his turn, Polo also had a son and a daughter, Posco and Prisca.[1]

Etymology

The name Polo was meaningless in contemporary Hobbitish Westron. It represented an original name Pola.[2]
