In the earliest versions of the legendarium, Peleg was the son of Indor and the father of Tuor. Therefore like Tuor he probably belonged to the House of the Swan.[1] In The Silmarillion Tuor's father is Huor.[2]
In The Lay of the Fall of Gondolin, his name was changed to Fengel, name that was later used for the fifteen King of Rohan.[3]
