North Ithilien was the northern part of Ithilien between the Anduin and the Ephel Dúath and was somewhat less extensive than its southern counterpart, South Ithilien (lower Ithilien). The refuge of Henneth Annûn[1] and the Field of Cormallen[2] were to be found in this part of Ithilien.
