Kate Madison (b. 1978) is a British filmmaker and actress. She was the director of and an actor in the fan film "Born of Hope." In the film, she portrayed Elgarain, a Ranger and close friend of Arathorn. Notably, Elgarain is an original character created specifically for the film and does not appear in J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium.
