Ithilbor was the chief of the Guest-elves, and a member of Thingol's council.[1]

Nothing else is known about him, except that he was the father of Saeros, a Green-elf of Arthórien who resided in Thingol's court in Menegroth.[2]

Etymology

His name is not given an explanation but is apparently composed of the Sindarin words Ithil + -paur, which translates as "Moon-fist".
