The Fountains of the South were fountains in Gondolin, according to the early version of the legendarium in The Book of Lost Tales. They were located south of the city, along the Way of Running Waters. Passing them were the walls, where Tuor's house was. The people of the Fountain came from the south of the city when summoned, so they probably dwelt nearby.[1]
