:No, it wasn't my goal in editing to pass 11,000 articles, in fact I didn't realize that it was passed until afterwards. I just thought that you guys usually made note of it whenever you made it to another thousand, and I thought that I'd give you a heads-up. By the way, I usually don't have much time in my crowded schedule to do a lot of research, so I'll usually be doing small edits that are mostly concerned with consistency, typos, and wanted pages. Nothing very important or significant.  In fact the reason I joined Tolkien Gateway in the first place was because of all the small inconsistencies and typos that irked me while I was doing Tolkien research, and I figured that it was easier to help with editing if I had a user account. I'm sorry if I bother you. I'm not trying to come in here and take credit for doing all the easy work while you guys are doing all the hard work. I just want to help in any way I can! Think of me as an overgrown fool-of-a-Took hobbit lad who meddles in affairs too big for him even though he's too small to make much of a difference. :)  --[[User:Wingfoot|Wingfoot]] 01:58, 1 May 2014 (UTC)

I think we just passed 11,000 articles!

With a bunch of very, very short "X is X" articles. --Ederchil (Talk/Contribs/Edits) 16:12, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
That's only a fraction of the work done in the past couple years to get us to this point! --Wingfoot 16:38, 30 April 2014 (UTC)
