This article is about the Fell Winter of the First Age. For the Fell Winter of the Third Age, see Fell Winter (Third Age).
Tuor and Voronwë see Túrin at the Pool of Ivrin by Ted Nasmith

The Fell Winter of F.A. 495/496 was especially long and bitter, with ice and snow from November to March.[1] It came immediately after the Fall of Nargothrond, hindering both Túrin's journey to Dor-lómin and Tuor and Voronwë's to Gondolin.[2][3][4]
