Drogoth the Dragon Lord is a non-canonical character in The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II and the sequel The Rise of the Witch-king. He is a playable character for the Goblin faction.

History

Drogoth is said to be the lord of all dragons after the death of Smaug. In the good campaign, he agrees to serve Sauron in exchange for one of the Seven Dwarven Rings of Power. As part of his new master's war in the North, Drogoth leads an attack on the Dwarven halls of the Blue Mountains and gathers to himself many evil things to protect his lair. The Dwarves and Elves rallied by Glorfindel and Gloin vanquish the foul host and slay the dragon. (He can only be attacked by ranged units and siege weapons.)
