Déor was a Man living in the early medieval period of English history, and was the father of Ælfwine. He was killed by a sea-captain of the Forodwaith (Vikings) named Orm.[1]

Etymology
Deor means "wild animal", or "brave and bold as a wild animal" in Old English.
