The Common Speech, also known as Westron, was a Mannish language that evolved from Adûnaic as spoken in Númenor. In the Third Age, it functioned as the common tongue of the Free Peoples of the northwest of Middle-earth. Also Orcs of different tribes used the Common Speech to communicate with eachother.
