He was hired to replace Viggo Mortensen, who had walked out because of compensation issues, in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (video game). He went on to voice Aragorn in The Battle for Middle-earth Anthology, and provided the voice of the ranger Elegost in EA's alternative fellowship-game The Third Age.
