Do we have a template that goes on an article stating that it needs serious cleanup? --Narfil Palùrfalas 15:36, 31 July 2006 (EDT)

The rather appropriately named, {{cleanup}} template. There's also {{stub}} but that is a tad different. --Hyarion 16:51, 31 July 2006 (EDT)

Template suggestions[edit source]

I have ideas for two templates.

  1. One that indicates that a certain article must be created. For instance, suppose you had an article, or even a list of articles, that you wanted to create or have created. You could put the {{:creation}} template on that article's page, which means the designated article needs to be created. It would make things a little easier. . . and perhaps faster. . .
  2. One that indicates that a marked Sindarin word is referenced by Hiswelókë's Sindarin dictionary. It's rather annoying to place it only practically every Sindarin word page.

Just some ideas. Not sure if I explained the first one correctly. --Narfil Palùrfalas 21:19, 2 October 2006 (EDT)

Ideas are always good. Hm, I suppose a Create template wouldn't be a bad idea, though Template:Stub would probably be pretty close to what we're looking for. A Sindarin Dictionary template is also a good idea. It'll probably be more efficient if I show you how to make the templates so you can create them in the future.
For the Sindarin Dictionary template all you'll have to do is go to Template:Hiswelókësindarindictionary (or choose something shorter), insert the text you would like to be repeated on the pages, and in those pages just type {{Hiswelókësindarindictionary}}. It's as simple as that. For Template:Create just add something like "This page needs to be created" Category:Articles to be written and then people can insert {{create}} in a blank page and the text and category will be inserted. --Hyarion 23:44, 2 October 2006 (EDT)
