Physical Description
"Folca hunting the Boar of Everholt" by Jeremy Bennett

The Boar of Everholt was a monstrous beast that inhabited Everholt in the Firien Wood, around the feet of the Halifirien in the White Mountains. The great hunter Folca of Rohan, having rid his country of the Orcs, set out to hunt down the boar. He succeeded, but received mortal tusk-wounds that brought his Kingship to an end.[1]

Portrayal in adaptations

2013: The Lord of the Rings Online:

A flashback sequence shows King Folca's hunt and his mutual kill with the Boar of Everholt. A tapestry depicting it is also found in Meduseld. A group of White Mountains orcs witnesses the event and, impressed by the creature that slayed their greatest foe, begin styling themselves after the boar, incorporating boar tusks and bones into their armor.
