Atanalcar (Q, pron. [ˌataˈnalkar]) was the youngest of the four children of Elros Tar-Minyatur, first King of Númenor. Though he left descendants, nothing of their lives was recorded.[1]

Etymology

Atanalcar is a Quenya name. Its meaning is not glossed, but Paul Strack suggests it means "Man Glory" and is a compound of Atan ("Man") and alcar ("glory").[2]
