Arthur Rankin Davenport, Jr. (July 19, 1924) was one of the founders of "Videocraft International" in the early 1960's. Together with Jules Bass, he directed and produced Rankin/Bass' The Hobbit and Rankin/Bass' The Return of the King. He si currently retired from filmmaking, and spends his days in Bermuda.
