Alfrida of the Yale was the wife of Gundolpho Bolger (S.R. 1131-1230) and mother of three children:
- Gundahar Bolger (S.R. 1174-1275)
- Rudolph Bolger (born S.R. 1178)
- Gundahad Bolger (born S.R. 1180)
Alfrida was the great-grandgrandmother of Frodo Baggins. She and her husband Gundolpho are the first hobbits mentioned in the family-tree of the Bolger of Budgeford.
Alfrida's home, the Yale, is situated to the south of Budgeford.
