The name Aeglos refers to more than one character, item or concept. For a list of other meanings, see Aeglos (disambiguation).

Aeglos was a tall, thorny plant, similar to a gorse, but somewhat larger than that. Its sweet-smelling flowers were white, and from them it took its name: aeglos is Elvish for 'snow-thorn'. It was found on the slopes of Amon Rûdh in West Beleriand and perhaps elsewhere.
